Ask 99-year-old Broadway Mesa Village resident Dorothy Hannisian, who took center stage at the community’s recent talent show and won kudos for “captivating the audience with her dancing skills and infectious energy,” according to a release.
“Ms. Hannisian’s captivating dance routine was a highlight of the evening, demonstrating that age is truly just a number when pursuing one’s passions,” the retirement community said. “She proved that talent knows no bounds with grace, energy, and enthusiasm.”
The talent show brought residents, staff, and families together and highlighted the community’s “diverse talents and vibrant spirit, from singing to dancing and comedy acts to musical performances.”
“Dorothy’s performance was a highlight of our show,” said Lanie Martin, sales director at Broadway Mesa Village. “She inspires all of us and shows us that there are no limits to what you can achieve, no matter your age. The talent show was a wonderful opportunity for our residents to rediscover the joy of performing and provide a platform to showcase their talents and passions.”
